A gift in the Water: the beautifully nutty people who are gonna take The 2014 Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge on January 25th to benefit the Special Olympics. A few years ago, a young girl with Down Syndrome came out of the water shivering and cried out, “Did I help someone, Mommy? Did I help someone?”
A gift in memory: thinking about that young girl taking that plunge.
