A Chinese Folk Story
A man’s prize horse encountered misfortune and died. The neighbors said: how unlucky! The man said: maybe. The man found a beautiful wild horse in his field. His neighbors said: how lucky! The man said: maybe. His son tried to tame the horse. The horse bucked the son off his back, breaking the son’s leg. The neighbors said: how unlucky! The man said: maybe. The army called up all the young men to go to war, but the man’s son couldn’t go because his leg was in a cast. The neighbors said: how lucky! The man said: maybe… And so life goes.

I love the picture and the story Maureen.
I thought of you yesterday, living as you do in Atlanta, when there was a programme on our TV about a man who used to live in Atlanta and had now 'gone wild; and built himself a wooden hut in the swamps outside Atlanta, where he lived and fended for himself, eating whatever he could catch. Amazing programme.
