Held, Passed By, Sat With

The ninth day of counting of One Thousand Gifts.
25. A gift held: the stick shift of The Chicklet (tiny white car) as I tooled back from Virginia today. Five-speeds are fun to drive and give me a sense of mastery every time I don’t accidentally pop the clutch.
26. A gift passed by: a sheep-filled pasture in the center of which sat a white ewe and her tiny black lamb. (Insert gooshy awww sounds here ______.)
27. A gift sat with: Brother Rudy, Sister-In-Law Nancy, Husband Ray as we lingered over lunch at Ruby Tuesday. In Virginia. Near sheep farm.
