
160. When were cans last make of tin? When I was in Kindergarten, I covered a Contadina Tomato Paste (tin?) can with bits of wallpaper and then shellacked it. Mine had a bit of shell pink and creamy golden yellow paper on it. It was a Christmas gift for my mother and I was so proud! It was our pencil holder for many years.
161. I keep a jar of sea glass -the pale blues and greens and the frosty whites are a gift to behold and to finger.
162. The driftwood I pulled out of the Barnegat Bay in New Jersey years ago. It serves as a mantle of sorts over our fireplace. I never tire of looking at it or remembering the day I brought it home.
